These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("User" or "you") and Drustee TV ("Platform," "Service," "we," or "us"). By accessing, registering, or using the Drustee TV platform in any manner, you agree to be bound by all terms set forth herein. 1. About Drustee TV

 

Drustee TV is an India-based over-the-top (OTT) digital entertainment platform that delivers free, on-demand streaming of movies, web series, short films, original content productions, and audio programming to all users at no cost. The Platform is accessible via our official website, Android and iOS mobile applications, smart TV applications, and other authorised interfaces.

 

 

 

Drustee TV operates on a free-for-all access model. Every user, upon registration, has complete and unrestricted access to the full content library at no charge, supported by contextual advertising. Users who wish to enjoy an uninterrupted, advertisement-free viewing experience may opt into our Ad-Free subscription plan, which removes all advertisements without gating any content.

 

 

 

Core Principle: All content on Drustee TV is and will remain freely accessible to all registered users. The Ad-Free subscription solely removes advertisements — it does not unlock or restrict any content.

 

2. Eligibility & Registration

 

To create an account and access Drustee TV, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

 

 

 

▸ You must be at least 18 years of age, or a minor accessing the Platform under direct supervision and with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf

3.1 Account Security

 

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree to:

 

 

 

▸ Immediately notify Drustee TV of any unauthorised access to your account

 

▸ Not share your account credentials with any third party

 

▸ Use a strong, unique password and update it periodically

 

▸ Log out from shared or public devices after each session

 

 

 

3.2 Platform Rights Over Accounts

 

▸ Remotely log out sessions from one or more devices at our discretion

 

▸ Limit the number of simultaneous active streams per account tier

 

▸ Restrict or suspend accounts suspected of misuse, commercial account sharing, or fraudulent activity

4. Guest Browsing & Free Access

 

Drustee TV may permit limited browsing of the Platform's catalogue without registration ("Guest Mode"). Playback of full-length content requires a registered and authenticated user account. Guest users are subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy to the same extent as registered users. We reserve the right to modify Guest Mode access at any time.

 

5. Free Access & Ad-Free Subscription

▸ No content is hidden behind a paywall — every title available on Drustee TV is accessible to every registered user

 

▸ Free tier access does not expire and is not time-limited

 

 

 

5.2 Ad-Free Subscription — Uninterrupted Experience

 

▸ Users may optionally subscribe to our Ad-Free plan to remove all advertisements from their viewing experience

 

▸ The Ad-Free subscription does not provide access to any additional content beyond what is freely available

 

▸ Subscription plans are available on monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles as displayed on the Platform

 

▸ All Ad-Free subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default at the end of each billing cycle

 

▸ To cancel auto-renewal, users must do so through Account Settings or the respective app store's subscription management section at least 24 hours before the renewal date

 

▸ Cancellation of auto-renewal will not terminate service immediately; Ad-Free access will continue until the end of the current paid billing period

 

▸ Upon expiry of an Ad-Free subscription, your account automatically reverts to the free, ad-supported tier with full content access retained

 

 

 

5.3 Payment Processing

 

All Ad-Free subscription payments are processed through the following certified payment partners:

 

 

 

▸ Razorpay: For direct web and app billing (UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets)

5.4 Refund Policy

 

Drustee TV maintains a no-refund policy for Ad-Free subscription fees once a billing cycle has commenced. Exceptions are limited to:

 

 

 

▸ Duplicate or erroneous charges resulting from a verified technical error

 

▸ Situations where applicable consumer protection law mandates a refund

 

▸ Cases reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Drustee TV's billing team

 

 

 

Refund requests must be submitted to billing@drusteeTv.com within 7 calendar days of the disputed charge, with the transaction reference number included.

 

6. Permitted Use of Content

 

All content on Drustee TV — including videos, audio, images, graphics, user interfaces, trademarks, and original productions — is owned by or licensed to Drustee TV and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable intellectual property laws.

 

 

 

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

 

 

 

▸ Access and stream content for personal, non-commercial, private viewing purposes

 

▸ Download content (where the download feature is enabled) solely for offline playback within the Drustee TV application on your authorised device

 

 

 

You expressly agree that you will NOT:

 

 

 

▸ Copy, reproduce, record, screenshot, or screen-record any portion of the content

 

▸ Upload, redistribute, broadcast, or transmit content to any third party or platform

 

▸ Use any content for commercial purposes, public performance, or institutional display

 

▸ Attempt to extract or download content using third-party tools or software

 

▸ Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, watermarks, or rights management information

 

7. Offline Downloads

 

Where Drustee TV makes offline download functionality available, such downloads are subject to the following terms:

 

 

 

▸ Downloads are encrypted and playable exclusively within the Drustee TV application

 

▸ Downloaded content cannot be transferred to external storage, other devices, or third-party players

 

▸ Download availability for specific titles may be limited based on licensing agreements with content owners

 

▸ Downloaded content will become inaccessible if your account is suspended or terminated

 

▸ Drustee TV reserves the right to modify download availability at any time based on licensing obligations

 

8. Prohibited Conduct & Platform Misuse

▸ Creating accounts using false identities, bots, or automated scripts

9. Content Availability & Platform Changes

 

The Drustee TV content library is dynamic and subject to change based on licensing agreements, regional availability, and content scheduling:

 

 

 

▸ Drustee TV does not guarantee the perpetual availability of any specific title

 

▸ Content availability may vary by geographic region due to territorial licensing restrictions

 

▸ We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove content at any time without prior notice

 

▸ Platform features and technical specifications may be updated without notice

 

▸ Scheduled maintenance may result in temporary service interruptions; we will endeavour to minimise downtime

 

10. Intellectual Property Rights

 

The Drustee TV name, logo, branding, original content, and all associated intellectual property are the exclusive property of Drustee TV or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to users. Drustee TV respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and expects the same from its users and partners.

 

11. Copyright & Content Dispute Resolution

 

Drustee TV values the creative work of every artist, filmmaker, musician, writer, and content creator whose work forms the heart of our platform. We are equally committed to maintaining a rigorous, fair, and transparent process for addressing any copyright concerns or content disputes raised by rights holders, collaborating creators, or our internal team.

 

 

 

11.1 Who May Raise a Copyright Concern

 

A copyright concern or content dispute may be formally raised by:

▸ Collaborating artists, co-creators, producers, or contributors involved in the creation of content available on the Platform

11.2 Structured Dispute Resolution Process

 

All copyright and content disputes are handled through a structured, step-by-step process designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and swift resolution. The following process applies to all formal claims:

 

 

 

STEP 01 Submit a Formal Notice: Send a written copyright concern or dispute notice to copyright@drusteeTv.com. Your submission must include: (a) your full name and contact details, (b) a clear description of the content in question and the nature of your claim, (c) proof of ownership or authorised representation, and (d) the specific URL or content identifier on the Platform.

 

 

 

STEP 02 Acknowledgement & Initial Review: Drustee TV will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 3 business days. Our content and legal team will conduct an initial assessment of the claim to determine its prima facie validity and categorise it accordingly.

 

 

 

STEP 03 Team Consultation & Creator Engagement: Where the content involves a collaborating artist, creator, or production partner associated with Drustee TV, our team will directly engage with the relevant parties. We walk through the claim together — reviewing contracts, creative agreements, licensing terms, and contribution records — to understand the full picture from all sides.

 

 

 

STEP 04 Resolution & Action: Based on the review, Drustee TV will take one of the following actions: (a) Content is removed or restricted pending further investigation; (b) A licensing or attribution correction is applied; (c) A written response is issued explaining why the claim was not upheld, with supporting documentation. All decisions are communicated to the claimant within 15 business days of the initial acknowledgement.

 

 

 

STEP 05 Escalation & Appeal: If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate the matter in writing to legal@drusteeTv.com within 10 business days of receiving our decision. Escalated cases are reviewed by senior management and, where applicable, an independent legal advisor. A final response will be provided within 21 business days of escalation.

 

 

 

11.3 Counter-Notice Provision

 

If content has been removed or restricted following a copyright claim and you believe this action was made in error, you may submit a counter-notice to copyright@drusteeTv.com. Your counter-notice must include a statement of good faith belief that the content was removed by mistake, your identification details, and your consent to jurisdiction of the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

 

 

 

11.4 Good Faith Obligation

 

All parties engaging in the dispute resolution process are expected to do so in good faith, with accurate information and genuine intent. Drustee TV reserves the right to disregard or reject claims that are found to be frivolous, misleading, or submitted with the intent to harm a creator or the Platform. Repeat or abusive filers may be restricted from future submissions.

 

 

 

11.5 Our Commitment to Creators

When disputes arise — whether between external rights holders, collaborative creators, or our own team — we commit to resolving them with respect, speed, and fairness. 13. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

The Drustee TV Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Drustee TV disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation. While we strive to maintain the highest quality of service, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure events.

 

14. Account Termination & Suspension

 

Drustee TV reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account in the following circumstances:

▸ Your watch history, preferences, and activity data will be removed

▸ Your access to the Platform will be revoked immediately

 

14.4 Data Retention After Deletion

 

Certain data may be retained for a limited period where required:

 

▸ Transaction and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with legal and financial regulations

▸ Anonymised data may be retained for analytics and reporting purposes

▸ Data required for legal obligations or dispute resolution may be retained as necessary

 

All other personal data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 90 days of account deletion.

 

14.5 Irreversibility of Deletion

 

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account and associated data cannot be recovered.
