Data Deletion Request

In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Your Right to Data Deletion

As a Drustee TV user, you have the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you. We are committed to processing all verified requests within 30 days of identity confirmation.

🔒 Once processed, your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

Upon a successful full-account deletion request, the following data will be removed:

Account profile — name, email address, phone number, profile picture

Watch history and viewing preferences

Search history and content recommendations data

Device information and login activity logs

Payment and billing records (subject to statutory retention requirements)

Support communications and ticket history

⚠️ Note: Certain billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations, even after account deletion.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

Step 1 — Initiate the Request

Send your request to our Privacy Team using one of the following methods:

Include the following in your request:

Your full name (as registered on Drustee TV)

Your registered email address

Type of deletion: Full account deletion or Specific data deletion

Reason for request (optional, helps us improve)

Step 2 — Identity Verification

For your security, we will send a verification link to your registered email address within 24 hours of receiving your request. You must click this link to confirm your identity before the request can be processed. The verification link is valid for 48 hours.

Step 3 — Processing

Upon successful verification, our Privacy Team will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
